FYI

I've decided to start a segment called "Friday Fragments" I actually saw it on another blog, but now can't find it, but basically I'll just write about what I'm thinking. However, I will wait until next Friday to start it! Another thing I'm adding to this blog is the actual time I'm posting, because the time it displays is about 2 hours ahead of when I'm actually posting, and I thought it would be a good idea so when I'm looking back on this blog when I'm old I'll know exactly when I posted.

My computer has been running slowly.

and the blogger image hasn't been working well either, hence why I am just getting to post pictures now.

This is a little boy Donovan, that helped us work our garage sale. =]

We were all really happy to be there, actually it was just unbearably hot that day. But at least Nolan and I are smiling, and Troy might be?

This is my friend Victoria and our choir director Terry(there is a reason why we call him that) but he saw that Katie was going to take a picture so he was trying to look nonchalant, but it wasn't working, and it was making me laugh hysterically.

I love this photo because of the reflective-ness of the sky on the river.

Physically exhausted

Want to know what I did today?

Well, I woke up at 10:30(way later then I was expecting) and then by about 11:45 I was out mowing my lawn, and then a neighbor called wanting to know if I could mow there lawn. Now being a girl without a job, and very poor, I gladly excepted. Except, they wanted me to mow at 2 o' clock. I did it, but I was so exhausted after I finished at around 4. However, my day doesn't end there, I quick bike home, take a nice cold shower, get out, change, and jump in my car to go to a grad party, and only just got home about a half hour ago. So yes, you could definitely say I'm EXHAUSTED!! It's not even the kind where you can stay up for a few more hours, it's the kind where my eyes are drooping, I can't see straight, and all you can think about is that nice bed waiting for me upstairs.

Although, I probably won't go to bed for another couple hours I really should. I have church tomorrow morning, but then I'm just going to sit around all day and hopefully do nothing...Well I have to clean and do some other chores, but seriously, the majority of the day I'll probably sit and rest my legs...and my sunburnt body, even though I did put sunscreen on today!!!


I promise photos will be coming, probably sometime this week, I just don't have the energy to do it right now!

A very long week, and a few steamy days.

This week I worked a garage sale as a fundraiser for my mission trip to Rockford Illinois. The first day, which was Wednesday, we were very successful and pretty much had a steady flow all day, during which we made over 600 dollars! On Thursday we expected it to be slow, but I didn't think it would be as slow as it was. Especially because Thursdays are usually the garage sale-ing day, but we only made about 200 dollars, so in total we made over 800 dollars! Which was pretty spectacular, we didn't have a goal, so we were definitely blown away by the outcome!
The only bad thing about this garage sale? It just happened to land on the two steamiest days of the week. It was a rough one, especially Thursday, it was soo uncomfortably hot! =[


I just thought I would update you with my week, photos will be coming later.

Summer '09

Well, Summer has started and so I thought I'd post a few pictures of what I've done so far, which is: gone to a moving sale, Tony and Tina's Wedding, gone to the beach, gone to Party in the Park, and am holding another garage sale to fundraise for my mission trip this year. However, I don't have pictures of all of these things so I will post more once I download them all.


Soon, I will post some more pictures of my photography, the other garage sale, and the beach. Also, I would like to invite you to the garage sale tomorrow(Wednesday) and Thursday at 14660 Junkite St. in Ramsey! Please come, all proceeds benefit the mission trip!

My new photo class

I'm taking a Nature Photography Class through community ed, and although I've already taken a few other photo classes elsewhere, and learned pretty much all that they taught me, I love this class because you actually get to go out into the field and try and put that information to use. Tonight I'm going to the Sherburne County Wildlife Refuge. I'm really quite excited because I've never been there, and I'm sure they're is a lot of cool things to take photo's of. Here are some of the pictures that I've already taken in this class:

Today, I'm doing some chores around the house, and then I'm probably going down to Maple Grove to try and find a job(HA!), and then I have to pull some last minute stuff together for a garage sale some church friends and I are having, as a fundraiser for our Mission Trip, it'll be Weds. and Thurs. in Ramsey, on Junkite St. COME AND SUPPORT US!!=]

I also have a very busy week, so I may not update soon. Tomorrow I have to go over to Brit's to price stuff out for the garage sale, and then Wednesday and Thursday is the garage sale, and Friday I may possibly be going to the beach. =] This week will probably be tough on my sleep schedule because I'm use to getting up at 10 and tomorrow I'll have to wake up before 8!

School's out for summer!!!!!

Ah, the age old Alice Cooper song! But it's so true! I could not be more ecstatic to have summer here! Now if only the weather could shape up, that would be great!!! =]

Like I said, I do have pictures to post, I just haven't downloaded them yet. Plus, yesterday I had a photo class through community Ed, so I may just wait until the class ends to post anything, just to see what turns out from the class.

This weekend was a blast, but finals week and this past weekend have definitely caught up with me! I've been so tired lately it's ridiculous! But Saturday I went to my friends End of the Year Party! It was quite fun, but also really chilly at night! We all burned our school work and any other papers we got back throughout the school year!!!! =] Usually I don't like to burn it I just recycle it, but this year I thought I would partake in the festivites! Then on Sunday I went to my friends Grad Party, oh how I wish I was graduating this year!! It was decent I guess, but none of my real close friends were there so it wasn't as much fun as it could've been.

Well, I promise I'll post some pictures in the semi-near future!

In the time that I've lasted posted with pictures [which was the week after my cousins wedding] I've gone to bonfire, been to a choir concert, shot a band project, went to the "fountain" downtown, and went to the Phantom of the Opera. So here are some pictures from all of those things!
This is simply the gages in my car, and i love the way they turned out.

Finals, oh finals why must you toture me?

This week is my final week as a junior[WOOT!!!!!] But first i must get through the few finals I have! =[

Now I've never really stressed over finals before but the chem one I have to take is worth 15% of my grade, and the last test I took I did really well on, so I'm almost at a B- So I'm REALLY hoping to do well on this test!
The other test I have are a German final, which that in itself will be interesting. My original german teacher had to go to Iraq so we've had a long term sub this whole year pretty much but she took off somewhere last week so we've had a sub, and apparently she's going to be gone until the end of the year, but no one knows where she went. It's all very peculiar to me! The other test I have to take is a chapter test in History[not a final]. Then I have to present a band project and a math project and I WILL BE A SENIOR!!!!!! I'm really excited, anxious, and nervous, all in one for my senior year.
On the last 2 days of school we're having a block schedule. So on Thursday I'll have hours 1,3,5 each for 2 hours. Then on Friday I'll have hours 2,4,6 each for 2 hours. Therefore, on Thursday afternoon I'll have my chem final, math project, and german final all finished!!! That means that only my band project and my history tests will be left on friday! I really didn't have many finals this year, but I guess I'd rather have a final then a project!


Yesterday, my family and I went to Olive Garden for my birthday. My birthday was actually last Wednesday [I turned 17], but my family didn't get to celebrate together because my godparents took me to Phantom of the Opera! I'd never seen it, read it, or even listened to it, so I loved it!! Every year though my godparents give me a surprise for my birthday, never telling me until my birthday, but usually they bring me to shows! [I'm so spoiled! =]] But this year, I really just wanted to spend it with my family at Olive Garden, but then my godmother called my mom and told her, her plans. I was kind of ticked actually, I mean I enjoyed the show, but it would've been nice of her to ask what I wanted to do on MY birthday!



Alright, this has been a pretty long post for me, but I think I've caught you up on all that's been going on in my life!
Also, sorry for not posting pictures lately! I've been meaning to,I just haven't gotten around to it. But i do have a lot of pictures to be downloaded from my camera. So i promise that my next post will have at least ONE(1) picture in it!
