FRIENDS!

I just have to say that I love my friends, there truly is no one else I would rather spend my time with, than these people!
Fr. Paul, my lovely priest!

One of the best adults I've ever spent time with! Sue and I know how to have a good time!
My friend Andrew and I were browning meat together at the Taco night! Sorry it's sideways!
Group Picture! Here's what happened: I had to set the timer on my camera and then I had to get to my spot but there wasn't much time left, so I kind of had to half jump and then landed on everyone, and that's why everyone's laughing hysterically, or looks in pain.

A much better one! I didn't have to jump this time!

Funny One!

Everytime I think of Thanksgiving break now, I have a smile on my face! =]

Break

My break was nothing short of amazing.
I had an spectacular time catching up with my friends. There's nothing like absence making the heart grow fonder. Before I left for college I was SO ready to be done with Elk River, and almost everyone/everything that was there. After I left, I realized that there were still a few people that I really did genuinly miss, and still want to talk to/do still talk to today. To see all their beautiful faces again was really good.

But other than that, I had a good time at Feed my Starving Children, which is a catholic organization that does exactly what it sounds like, boxes up food for kids in places all over the country.
Thursday, it was good to see a few family members, and play a good old rendition of Newstrom Spoons, (which really is a different game than Spoons) we get super intense, and shed blood, and possibly break tables.

Friday night, I had a date with my dad, and we went and saw Harry Potter 7, I really liked it, but I do really need to re-read the book. However, since it's 2 parts I was upset when it stopped, I really wanted it to keep going. After Harry Potter I went to a "reunion party" with a few of my friends.

On Saturday, I went to Taco Saturday, at my friend Morgen's house and it was ridiculously fun.
Sunday was literally a day of rest/travel. I came back to school yesterday, and classes resumed today. But it was a well needed break.

Pictures posted soon!

Such a Long Week...

...because next week is a holiday, and i can't wait. Literally, these next 5 days of classes might kill me. I'm hoping that my Wednesday classes will be cancelled because then I can go home earlier(possibly). My first class is cancelled and now i'm just hoping my other 2 professors have a change of heart and let us skip.

I'm SO looking forward to 4 days at home, and then after that there's only 2 weeks of the semester left! (oh man.) AND THEN I HAVE A MONTH OFF!

Most of all i'm looking forward to this:

My own bed. And a bed that's up against a wall.
And of course all other things that come with home. (like a home-cooked meal)

Excitement

I talked to my sister on skype yesterday for an hour. It was a good hour, we talked about anything and everything. But the big topic was the Mission Trip this summer. Every time I talk about it, I get more and more excited! Both my sister and I will be going on the mission trip! I haven't been on one with her since 2007, and I'm SO excited! We're going to Mishawaka, IN. Not the place I wanted to go, but then again none of the places we've gone have really been my "ideal" places, but i've always had a good time, so it doesn't matter!

Plus, I found out that one of my friends that i met when in Rockford, 2 summers ago might be on staff this year! That would be SO awesome, even if she didn't end up at Mishawaka, she would be SO good for staff!

And I'm hoping I have a team like this:

Seriously, my team last year was SO AWESOME!

Alright, back to paper-editing for me.

Round Two

This is the same building as we found a few weeks ago when some us went on a midnight walk.
See? That's my friend Molly on the ladder.
Anyway...

I've always had this affection for grain elevators, like seriously every time I see one I want to take a picture of it. So I was pretty much in heaven when taking these pictures. =]

New Pictures!

For the first time in probably 4-6 months I went out and took pictures! It felt so good to do it! And here are some of the shots I got:

I have a few more to post, but I'll save those for later. =]

Halloween

There were a few events happening on campus here for the Halloween weekend.

A few highlights were:

-Zombie prom, which I didn't go to, because I didn't really feel like wearing white make up and getting all nasty for a dance, that apparently wasn't even that good.

-Haunted halls in gay 2-1, and pine hall. Some of my floor went to both of them, and at Pine I got myself a pretty nice rugburn.

-And the Rocky Horror Picture Show. Which is probably the most ridiculous movie I've seen. I had no idea what was going on in the movie, but it probably would've been better if I had watched it by myself for the first time, and not with people that were yelling(like you're suppose too)

-Going into town and taking pictures.

It was a pretty low key for me this weekend.
