Jason Mraz!

well two weeks ago I went to the Jason Mraz concert! And let me tell you, little Jason Mraz has some moves, man! I'm a huge fan of acoustic music and this was my first acoustic concert since the Block Party and I'm glad it was him! Although I can't say that I know all or probably even half of his songs it was well worth! Except there was this lady in front of us, kind of annoying she was like at least 55 probably older and she yells "have my babies Jason!" Um, can we talk about awkward?!?!?!

I went with my best boy, Greg and his girl friend because my friend Zack was an asshole(sorry, but that was necessary) and backed out THE DAY before the concert! I was pissed, and now he refuses to pay me for his ticket!


Alas, I will never be bringing him anyway nor will I be friends with him.

Rascal Flatts

Oh once again I went to a concert at the state fair (that's three, count em three!) This one was also free to me. But it also involved a lot of drama. you see originally my good friend Troy was suppose to go with his girlfriend Megan, but then they broke up but neither of them wanted to give up their ticket so I really have no idea how I ended up going and let's be real, I'm not really a big Rascal Flatts however one of their opening acts was Eli Young Band and I'm a HUGE fan or them!! So without further ado, pictures:

My heart is full!

So in the summers I work at my dad's work and this summer my boss asked me if I was interested in taking pictures of his family, and at the time I kind of just didn't answer the question because I didn't want him to hate the pictures I took since I am still a student and don't know a lot about my trade yet or how to really pose people yet. Last night at dinner my dad brought up the question again because Brian (my boss) asked him about it again and I was again at a loss. Mainly because I just don't want his family to be the first group photos I take and then have them turn out really terrible, so last night I posted a status on Facebook asking if anyone wanted to model for me so I can practice posing people and such. The answer was overwhelming. 

Oh good golly, I have such good friends! Right now I have nothing lined up yet, but there's a lot in the works. Working out schedules is really hard though! So hopefully by the time I take Brian's pictures I will be a lot more practiced with people and taking pictures! 

Blake Shelton

So I know I'm a lucky girl! My best girl Briana's parents got her and her brother Blake Shelton tickets just because so I was able to go to this concert for free! It was such a good time! Blake Shelton is so funny! In one of his songs one line goes like this: "they started drillin' before I was numb" and when he was singing it at the fair, off mic he mouths "motherf*****" it was SO funny.

Alan Jackson

So I'm back to blogging, sort of, I need to catch up on the end of August but I just feel like I haven't had much to blog about besides what's to come. On August 24th I took my dad to see Alan Jackson at the MN state fair . My sister and I bought the tickets for him for Fathers Day and my mom bought her own ticket so she came too. It was a good time, but it was a little different than I'm used to. Alan Jackson attracts kind of an older crowd  so I sat through an entire concert for the first time in my life. However it was still a really good time.

Farewell Summer 2012

Well As this Labor Day Weekend comes to a close I thought I'd do a little farewell to summer post. While I'm excited that fall is coming I won't actually believe it's here until the day I have to wear a jacket or sweatshirt to stay at warm. But with that said, I've had the greatest summer of all time. The biggest highlight of which was probably white water rafting!!!

I thought of doing one giant picture heavy posted but decided it against it and instead just put together to a little collage of all the pictures taken!

Its pretty small I know but I love it! I wish these were all real polaroids that I could post in my room! 

This weekend I didn't really do much I pretty much just worked the weekend away which I guess didn't really matter to me since school has already started for me and I didn't need to squeeze in anymore fun to be happy! 

I'm glad I've had the opportunity to go to so many concerts that my bank account has allowed it and that I've been able to take off work to go to all these things! I think the saying that "do it while your young" has been my motto this summer, while I don't know what next summer really holds for me I know where I would love to be!
