Song, and meanings.

May 29th was 5 songs that bring back memories or that speak to you, so basically the songs that bring back all the feels.

1. Dancing with Dreams by Phil Vassar, this was the first cd of his that I ever bought and to this day it creates ALL the feels. The world is just so big and I just want to do EVERYTHING.

2. Something I need by OneRepublic, or really anything by them. There newest album is PHENOMENAL and it's my go to when I'm angry, not because it's angry music but the beats are so catchy that it just makes everything better.

3. How Country Feels by Randy Houser, this was really the first song I had ever heard by him and HOLY SMOKES I LOVE IT. pLUS I like to consider myself a "country girl" music wise, not necessarily culture wise, but I don't really like the cities either.

4. Overture and Preludium by Rodgers and Hammerstein-The Sound of Music , this probably sounds stupid but this mash up of songs. LOVE. The Sound of Music was the FIRST dvd my family bought and they got it for me! It was my favorite movie for THE LONGEST TME. now I don't know how I sat through 3 hours of movie so often. But seriously, love it!

5. Streetcorner Symphony by Rob Thomas. I heard this song on a season of Grey's Anatomy and at that point I don't think I had started watching the show but I liked the song so much I started. Now I love Rob Thomas.

************
I love music and have a really hard time summing my life memories up with music. So here are more that I absolutely love. (with music videos)

6. Beat This Summer by Brad Paisley. I love me some B.P. He was the first concert I ever went to and this song kind of reminds me of last summer, even though it just came out.

7. Restless Heart by Matt Hires. LOVE LOVE LOVE. It would have been in my top 5 but since it just came out I don't really have it attached to any memories just one that I LOVE LOVE LOVE.

8. Same Love by Macklemore. I can't describe how happy I was when I heard an artist do a song about gay marriage, and how it's ALL THE SAME LOVE. Although I disclaim this with: I'm not a fan of any of the rest of his songs.

That's all for now folks. I'm tired after all that research.

All Pictures

My favorite picture..., and why

...Of me! It was part of the "blog every day" thing, I didn't do it that day obviously, but I thought I'd post it now.

I feel like anyone that really truly knows me sees this person^, the one that can be silly, and crazy but can be reserved. (I'm not telling the whole story with just facial expressions) This was my 3rd concert  in 3 days, and I think I was pretty punch-drunk tired by this point but I think that's also a part of who I am. Sleep is a treasured thing for me, as in I absolutely love my sleep and if I don't get enough I get into either a hyper-active talkative mood(pictured here) or a really sullen, leave-me-alone mood.

My 10 favorite things.

I'm linking up with Jenni again for the "blog everyday in may" challenge. Obviously, I havne't done that, but I haven't been super keen on any of the subjects but I love this one so without further ado and in no particular order :

One: my dod, seriously might sound ridiculous but it's true. That girl can put a smile on my face no matter how terrible my day has been. Truly is love that doesn't fail.

Two: Harry Potter, the books. I love the movies, but while reading it just has this capability to take me into the world of Hogwarts.

Three: working. This sounds weird, and I may hate my job some days, but I like to be busy and have something to do on a daily basis. I mean yes, I love being lazy but I definitely couldn't do that every day.

Four: Concerts. no brainer. absolute love.

Five: The smell of night air in the house. I'm not sure how to describe that, so I hope you get it.

Six: Storms. They fascinate me, especially thunderstorms.

Seven: Music, up loud and windows down driving down the highway

Eight: naps. I LOVE SLEEP.

Nine: Photography. I'm not talking the blogger kind, I'm talking real photography like studio shots. Nothing excites me more than the prospect of being in a studio.

Ten: Laying in the grass staring at the stars. perfection.

Yes, if we're talking things I love then family and friends should be on the list right? Well they are, but I decided to not include them since I feel that's a given.

Me in 250 words.

Through blog-hoping yesterday I found this link-up/challenge to blog every day in may, well I had a busy day yesterday and by the time I got to it it was already early this morning so I'll just go until June Second.

So I'm linking up with Jenni and the first day is your life story in 250 words or less, here goes:

(I perhaps had the largest eyes as a baby)

I was born in Fridley, MN on May 27th, I live in a small-ish little town. But I've never known anything different, I've never moved in the almost 21 years I've been alive. I played soccer as a kid I don't think I was very good, and I ended up quitting right before high school, sort of due to injuries sort of due to the fact that I hated the girls I played with. I took piano lessons for 11 years and loved every second of it. High school was rough, my "friends" weren't very nice to me but I'm fiercely loyal and refused to leave them. Senior year rolled around and I figured out "screw them" and found new friends. After graduation I went off to the University of Minnesota, Morris. I loved it my freshman year, hated it sophomore year, I dropped out came home, took a semester off and am now going to school for photography. I'll be graduating in a year and that is scary. I don't want to be in the real world, I want to forever have everything provided for me at my parents house.   My parents are the best, although I may not have always known it.

And because this is true:
