Oh Snap!

Wow, i haven't had much time to update this lately! I've had time to sit around I'm just not on the computer all the time. Between doing homework, meeting new people, and hanging out with current people i know I don't have much time to do it!
But college is wonderful, I'm loving it. I love all the new people i've met. The classes aren't the greatest, I'm not to impressed with a few of my professors but hopefully that will change.
I've joined the Ultimate Frisbee club, and I'm going to German Club tonight.
I've had a few adventures into town, once at midnight with 2 other people from my floor and once with Jessica, when we went to family dollar.

I've also had an adventure that involved a wind turbine, cow poop, and electric fences. =]
Overall, I'm loving it here. Everyone up here is ridiculoulsy nice. For example, when Jessica and I were walking through town 2cars just stopped so we could cross the road even though they didn't have a stop sign OR a yield sign. Now that is just ridiculous if you ask me!

First few days.

Just a quick update, I've officially been at college for 3 days and I'm LOVING it! I've met so many cool people! and just as proof that i'm here:

MOVE IN DAY IS TOMORROW!!!
I'm excited! Nerves haven't hit me yet, so i am just excited! I'm excited to see and experience something new, to meet new people, and mostly just get a break from elk river, and some of the kids that live in this town. There are others, that i'd rather pack in boxes and take with me, but i know i can do this.

There's still packing to do today. I've given out so many hugs this week as i've said goodbye to some people, it's been ridiculous!
Although, i haven't been able to say bye to some that i really wanted to.

so i'll spread my wings and fly away- but no worries i'll be back in october!

Last Week

It's my last week here. This is weird, i've never been anywhere else in my life. I don't really know what to think. I'm excited, and a little scared. I don't feel much else. I'm trying to make the best of this week, and have a good time. I don't work much, so that's a plus.

But i do have to say this: I can honestly say that i will not miss a fair amount of the people i'm leaving. I need a new beginning and to just get away from these people, at least for a little while. People change, and i do thing i've changed a fair amount of the past two years. I don't try to impress people in order to make them be my friends, i'm not fake and lead two different lives, and i feel that some of the people i've hung out with are like that. It's time for change. I can say though, that i will miss these times:


My life has been easy thus far, and i guess it's time for me to spread my wings.

Something Corporate concert was quite possibly one of the best night's of my life.

I had so much fun, other than the drunk people standing next to me, and the girl literally sweating on me, those two put asie, IT WAS AMAZING!!

Taking Advantage

Today, I have a day off. Normally i work 6 days a week. But for whatever reason, i have a day off. This past Saturday i had a day off but it was boring and i didn't have much to do. I'm hoping that today will not be like that. Therefore, I'm taking advantage of this and staying up late, just because i can and because i haven't done so pretty much all summer! And the fact that i've been working doubles 3-4 times a week sometimes and packing 70 hours onto a check(which is a lot for me! ) so i'm tired of working!

This week I've finally been able to have a little bit of a summer!
I went to a Something Corporate concert on Monday, They're a piano rock band that my friend Morgen introduced me to in 8th grade, and needless to say I've been waiting 5 years for this experience, and IT WAS WELL WORTH IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I came home and could not wipe that smile off my face!

And on Tuesday I had a "Taco Tuesday" event at my church to basically help our families see what we do while on our mission trip.


I'm hoping sometime this week or next I'll be able to go see Charlie St. Cloud with a friend.

Anyway, those are just a few updates of what I've been doing. I'm hoping to post pictures soon!!
