I realized that I haven't even talked about New Orleans yet! Which was pretty much the trip of my life(so far)! and i'm only writing like a month after it happened!!
Therefore here's what happened:
Monday: Day of Driving, our bus drivers were pretty much some of the coolest ones out there! We also stopped in St. Louis for a short while and had a picnic for dinner there! Which is where this took place:
Tuesday: arrive in New Orleans around 7:00am. Have an hour and a half to "freshen" up(and somehow try to un-stink yourself without taking a shower.) We leave for the Oak Valley Plantation around 8:45. It was a really interesting place, we couldn't take pictures inside, i was a little bummed about that and this plantation wasn't a slave one, i don't think.
I even tried some alligator! Everyone says it tastes like fish(just like everything else, right?) personally i thought it tasted more like fish.
After the Plantation we want on a swamp tour! It was one of the coolest experiences ever! Except for the fact that i was either getting sick or was allergic to something down there because on the way to the tour i was all congested and sneezing like crazy, but anyway on this tour i saw a ton of alligator's and even held one!! =] :
Also on this tour we saw "beavers" (really they're egret's, but there's a reason i call them beaver's).
After the tour we went to this restaurant called Michaul's where we learned how to Cajun Dance!! Which is definitely the best kind of dancing out there!!!
I was definitely rockin' those beyonce hips!
We also went on a "voodoo" tour. it was basically telling us all the "haunted" houses of the french quarter. I probably would've enjoyed myself more if i actually believed in that kind of stuff.
Wednesday: We spent the morning at Xavier University for the jazz band. So basically, i was bored out of my mind.
In the afternoon the jazz band played at Jackson Square, and afterwards we got to spend like 4 hours in the french quarter(which is definitely not enough time!) there was a scavanger hunt that the chaperone's made up. It was pretty fun i suppose. but my favorite was a picture with andrew jackson:

Wednesday night we went on the Steamboat Natchez, it was a pretty fun time! We tried doing some cajun dancing to some jazz music...let's just say that one didn't work out so well...
Thursday: We left for home with a pit-stop in Memphis to see Elvis' house. I'm not a big fan of Elvis, I've never listened to his music so I didn't do much when we were there. I wasn't to interested in it. However I did tour his house where he had this monkey lookin' thing:
And a whole room full of his records!
This is only 1 wall of the room!!!!!
and i was very naughty in the planes:
oooooo snap! And then we made it home by about 9am Friday morning. it was a very short trip, but i had the time of my life!!
Song of the Day: She's Always a Woman- Billy Joel
